Basic Rotary Evaporator System Customizable, quality evaporator at an affordable price Interchangeable components to suit your requirements This complete evaporator system makes ordering and setup easy. System includes a rotary evaporator, water bath, and diagonal glassware set. Interchangeable glassware and components allow you to customize the unit to fit your changing needs, using the same evaporator for multiple distillation setups. Rotary evaporator features a brushless, sparkless high-torque motor for constant rotation. Rotation speed is controlled by analog controller from 20 to 180 rpm. Controller is separate from the motor, requiring only the motor to be raised and lowered. Manual arm and support jack system allow you to position motor and glassware at the desired height. Single evaporator unit comes with a diagonal condenser but can also accommodate vertical and cold-trap condensers; order alternate condensers separately below. Evaporator features a 5-ft power cord with three-prong plug for 115 VAC operation. Water bath features an analog controller which operates from 5° C above ambient temperature to 95° C, with an accuracy of ± 2° C. Bath can hold 3.7 liters of water and features a safety shutoff if water level drops below heater coil, protecting both the unit and the operator. Bath includes a 6-ft ( 1.8-m) cord with three-prong plug for 115 VAC operation. Standard diagonal condenser glassware set includes 1-liter pear-shaped evaporating flask, 1-liter round bottom receiving flask, condenser, long inlet feed tube and stopcock, steam duct, and clamps. Vacuum port is 1D8" OD.
